Joshie the Elf is a STEM children’s book series that introduces science, technology, engineering, and math through story and adventure. Created for children ages 5–8, the Joshie books show young readers that big ideas begin with curiosity, questions, and teamwork.

Joshie is a small elf with a big dream—to explore space and understand how the world works. Along the way, he learns by observing, building, testing ideas, and listening to others. Instead of giving answers, the stories model how real problem-solving happens, helping children see STEM as something they can do, not something to be afraid of.

The Joshie series blends imaginative storytelling with age-appropriate STEM thinking. Science and engineering concepts are woven naturally into the plot, allowing children to learn without feeling like they’re being taught. Characters collaborate, examine evidence, and adjust their ideas when something doesn’t work—just like real scientists and engineers. 

Children ages 5–8 are natural scientists. They ask “why,” notice patterns, and learn best through exploration. Early exposure to STEM helps build confidence, creativity, and resilience—skills that support learning in every subject.
